Trying my hand at depotting?

Hey!

Awhile back, I finally decided to depot all my mac eyeshadows and blushes into a palette. I've always liked having them in their individual pots because I thought they looked nicer that way but it was always some kind of a hassle to sort through them to find a shade that I want to use. So convenience won over aesthetics and here I am, having to depot all the individual pots I've acumulated through the years.

Materials I got ready to try depotting:

- Empty MAC palettes which I bought from the MAC Stand Alone store at Ngee Ann City (not sure if other MAC outlets sells them, but I'm told they don't?)
- A Towel, to make sure I dont make a mess
- Rubbing Alcohol, to clean the glue off the bottom of the pans
- Magnets, Scissors, Double sided tap
- Something thin and sharp like a letter opener to remove the pans from the pots (which also happens to not be in this photo)
- Candle, for heat (some people also use a hair straighter but I don't own one)
- Toothpicks, would be handy too

While googling how to depot the eyeshadows, I came across a few different methods. And I ended up actually trying 2-3 different methods before I finally found one that I liked and was comfortable with.

Method 1: Heating the bottom of the pan with the candle till the plastic and the glue melts before pushing the pan out
Method 2: Heating the plastic with a hair straighter, or in my case, a hair dryer, to melt the glue and remove the pan
Method 3: Heating it in the oven so the glue melts and you can remove the pan

First things first, remove the eyeshadow plastic from the pot, using something like a letter opener or a pair of scissors. Wedge it in between where the arrow is in the photo and it should pop out easily.

First method I tried, heating with the candle

I used a pair of pliers to hold onto the eyeshadow as the piece does get hot, so be careful.

After awhile of heating, the back gets melted enough that it's soft and you are able to push through and the pan would pop out easily.

This method was okay for a few eyeshadows, till the fumes coming from burning the plastic got too much for me that I started looking for another alternative.

Method 1=FAIL

Next, I knew what you needed was heat to melt the glue/plastic to remove the pan, so since I didn't have a hair straightener, I tried using a hair dryer...Didn't work...

The heat from the hair dryer wasn't enough to melt the glue or the plastic. I gave up after 1 try.

Method 2=FAIL

Finally, after seeking help from my trusted beauty buddies (Ru, Jo and Mich) that I didn't like the plastic fumes and was at a lost at what to do. Mich suggested that I tried the oven baking method that gossmakeupartist showed in his youtube video (His youtube video here).

Oh My Gosh. THANK YOU MICH!

The oven method works perfectly. No fumes, no weird plastic toxic smell you hope won't be poisionous. Much cleaner and much faster too.

(This is where I apologise, for not having photos regarding the Oven method. I was too despondent by then, that taking photos was the last thing on my mind)

All you need to do it place the eyeshadow plastics on an aluminium foil, into the oven at 100°c for about 5 minutes for eyeshadows, 10 mins or more for blushes.

After baking them, using something thin like a toothpick or a letter opener (like I used), place it in between the plastic and the pan and try to edge/pop the pan out. Real simple.

Method 3=<3

After removing the pans, you can use the rubbing alcohol to remove the excess glue left on the pans, or like me just use the remaining glue, stick on your magnet. Then use your hairdryer to heat up the sticker on the back of the pot for easy removal and stick the sticker back on the back on the pan. And thats it!

TA-DA! My depotted eyeshadows palette.

(L-R)

Row 1: Violet Trance, Gulf Stream, Greensmoke, Smoke & Diamonds, Buckwheat

Row 2: Cork, Style Snob, Amber Lights, Paradisco, Honey Lust

Row 3: Unbasic White, Oceanique, Creme Royal, Fashion, All That Glitters

So, which method do you like to use the most for depotting your eyeshadows?

Update: Snapshots of my life while I've been away!

Hi!

I haven't been able to blog for awhile because my prelim exams were here, but now that its over, I'm back! (well, till my finals is here). And before I go back to proper beauty posts, just thought that I would do a short update on what has happened in my life so far while I was away. Photos were all taken with my iPhone 4S. Some are from my instagram account (follow me at instagram, rainyydays10!), some are from my Path accout.

Just recently, I attended a Maybelline event introducing their new products, which I will be doing a post on soon.

I was most interested in the new Jelly Glow blushes, which have the most unique texture. Its not quite a gel nor a cream. How do I describe it? Really fun to play with.

Guerlain's new collection, Blanc de Perle, contains a new liquid and powder foundation which just joined my makeup collection courtesy of Guerlain. Reviews coming up soon.

My sister and I during CNY. One of my favourite photos of us haha. First time I've worn red for CNY in a really long time.

Everytime I feel like I want to eat healthy, I fall back to my default meal of, bread, shaved ham with salad sandwich. Love love love rocket leaves.

Met up with the girls for Japanese buffet at Ikoi at Miramar hotel after shopping around in town.

Nessie celebrated her birthday early this year, she's 3!

Juchheim cookies. Yum.

Just managed to catch up with all the Harry Potter films! My fave HP movies are probably, the first movie and the last movie.

Went shopping on Lulus.com with my sister. Love the shoes I bought.

At lunch with my mom at Marmalade Pantry, ION.

Finally depotted all my mac eyeshadows into one of their 15-pan palettes.

Popular was having a sale. If I remember correctly, the Deborah Harkness and Sophie Kinsella was on offer for 'buy the 2nd one at 50% off' and the classics were 3 for $15.

Swatches: Maybelline Products!

Awhile ago, I received a goodie bag from Maybelline (Thank you Thank you!) and I took photos of swatches of the products immediately, but I haven't been able to post it as I've been so busy. But here it is!

All the products that they've sent to me. How amazing :) Swatches will be posted from the lipsticks, clockwise direction.

There were 4 Color Sensational lipsticks. 1 from each colour range: Sensual Nudes, Ravishing Reds & Corals, Polished Pinks and Provocative Plums. There are a total of 20 shades, 5 shades from each of the colour ranges.

My personal favourite shade out of the 4 is the last one, Plum-tastic. Its the perfect plum colour has the shimmers which I like. And I actually wore this shade for my halloween look. Though I paired it with a bright red lip liner to make the color look brighter.

Each retails for S$17.90

Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara. There were lots of talk about this mascara in the US when it was released there. So I'm excited to try this mascara out.

Retails for S$20.90

2 Maybelline Babylips! My sis and I was so excited when we saw it because this is one of my sister's favourite lipbalms. She uses it everyday in school. These lipbalms are really appropriate for girls going to school because they are colorless, easy to wear, they're small so you can just pop them in your pencil box, and they're moisturising. One of our favourite lipbalms.

Maybelline Eyeshadow Quad in GD-1. This is my first Maybelline quad. And I love the colours! The browns, gold and black are colors that I se al the time. And the glitters are totally up my alley. A great palette that you can use for day time and then include the black for night.

And lastly, Maybelline's new Pure Mineral BB MOUSSE! Excited when I saw this. BB Mousse! The only other BB mousse I've tried (or even seen) was from Etude House. And I ended up not really using it. Or even liking it. So I'll try this out and let you all know how it fares.

Thanks for reading!

Review: Kanebo Freshel White C W Cream UV BB Cream

Kanebo Freshel White C W Cream UV BB Cream

From press release:

The Gentle Fruit Acid Mixture is formulated to soften skin that is hardened by the UV rays to enable Adhesive Collagen and Vitamin C to penetrate quickly into your skin.

Fruit Acid Mixture is an extract of 5 types of plants and trees (rich with lactic acid, glycolic acid and other substances). Cowberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange and lemon.

  • Penetrating vitamin C (Active Whitening Ingredient)
  • Adhesive collagen (moisturizing ingredient)
  • Alpha hydroxy acid mixture
  • Citrus peel extract
  • Orange peel extract

My opinion:

A little about what BB creams are before I start my review, BB Creams are basically multi-functional products, some even formulated with up to 10 functions. This BB cream in particular is said to be an Essence, Emulsion, Cream, Suncreen and Makeup Base all in one. And with our busy lifestyles now, where ladies only have 15 minutes or even less to do their makeup in the morning, a BB cream is a god-sent.

This BB cream has been the 1 bb cream I've been favouring among a few BB creams that I own. It feels really comfortable on my skin, doesn't make me feel like a have something heavy on. On days when I just need something to even out my skin tone, or days when I go to school and don't use much makeup, this is perfect.

I've used it a few ways:

1) BB Cream + Concealer (if needed) + face setting powder (like MAC MSF Natural)

This worked really well, the BB cream evened out my skin tone, concealed some minor acne scarring that I have. I use a concealer if I require any extra concealing for blemishes and what nots. Then I set it with a pressed face powder. This helps keep my face from being oily for at least 6 hours.

2) BB Cream + Liquid Foundation

Sometimes I've used the BB cream as a base for my liquid foundation on days where I require more coverage. I actually think this combination is too heavy for my skin, so I don't do this very often. But it does help my liquid foundation last longer. Provide extra coverage for my skin. Acts as a primer for my foundation and also provides sun protection as my liquid foundations usually doesn't have SPF.

3) BB Cream + Powder Foundation/Two-way cake

This is the combination that I use the most. Because it provides just the right amount of coverage for me. Not too little, not too much. It works really well together in making my foundation last longer. If I use just the powder foundation on its own, it won't last as long because I have oily skin and the powder foundation will start 'showing' on my face. The BB cream also acts as a primer in this case, making my powder foundation smoother and I don't get oily as fast.

How it works on my face:

Before applying:

I've really enjoyed using this BB cream. And would probably repurchase once I'm out. But with every application, you only require just a small amount for your whole face so one tube would last you pretty long. Freshel also has another BB cream in a brown tube called Moisture Lift and I'm tempted to try that BB cream next.

If I remember the prices correctly, both BB creams by Freshel is selling for S$33 each.

Review: Mogitate Kajitsu Lip Balm

When I first opened this lip balm, the first thing that came to my mind was: Japanese Grape Gummies. Because that's exactly what it smells like. And I LOVE Japanese grape gummies. No matter what brand of grape gummies you buy, somehow all the ones from Japan just smells so yummy and taste so yummy, I feel like having some now. But back to the lipbalm, this smells so yummy. Really.

To me, most lip balms in a tube like that, feels almost the same on the lips for me. So I love picking the ones that has really like smells and flavours. And I was so happy with this lipbalm because some other ones I've tried just falls short when it came to being true to the flavour it was supposed to be like.

This lipbalm feels like how vaseline would feel on your lips. It has a sorta waxy feel to it and is mildly minty. Really nice to use for everyday casual-just-throw-it-into-your-purse. Even on your lips the grape smell just lingers and lingers. Yum.

Some information about the lipbalm from the packaging:

- Moisturizes and softens lips with natural fruit juice, honey and Bee Wax
- Smoothes lips and prevents wrinkle with Squalane, Grape Seed Oil, Vitamin A and E
- UV Protection

I think its great when a lipbalm comes with UV protection because most people do forget that their lips require protection from the sun as well. So thats definitely an added plus.

To sum it up, this lipbalm feels the same on lips like how other lipbalms feel. But in terms of the smells and flavour, it really stands out compared to the rest I've tried. I won't even mind purchases some other flavours to try them out.

Trying my hand at depotting?

Hey!

Haven't been able to blog for the longest time because of school. But exams are getting nearer which would probably mean I won't be able to blog even more. So I'm trying out a new way of blogging. Blogging through my phone. If I'm able to do it (churning out posts through my phone) I would definitely be able to post more often. Blogging through my phone is infinitely easier than if I have to blog from my computer 'cause most days I don't even on my computer now. Too much distraction. Haha. So we'll see how this goes. And I'm still trying to figure out how do I upload photos from my phone to the onsugar blog. Is it not possible? If anyone knows, please help me. I've searched through the onsugar FAQ but came up with nothing, except telling me to post through email, which is what I'm trying now, but there can only be one photo attached per email, annoying D:

EDIT: Blogging through email from my phone=FAIL :( the words I've added after the embedded photo just won't appear and I'm now editing the post from my computer. Sighs. If only onsugar would create an iphone app (hint hint)

Anyway, back to what I wanted to talk about.

Firstly, Happy (belated) Chinese New Year to everyone! I had a great time hanging out with my relatives and friends and what not. Of course it included lots of eating. I feel like a whale now. No more junk food for at least 3 months!

Recently, I started feeling like I wanted to depot all my Mac eyeshadows and blushes. So while I was in town with my friends yesterday, I came home with these!

1 empty 15 eyeshadow palette. And 1 empty blush palette. They are both S$25 each. And are only available at the MAC standalone store at Ngee Ann City I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

And now I can't wait to start my depotting. If I manage to figure out how to upload photos through my phone, then I'll definitely show you how I'm going to be depotting my Mac eyeshadows and blushes. If not...well I'm think of a way :)

Thanks to all my new and existing subscribers for following me! Even with my long standing hiatus. Eek. I know. Please bear with me :)

Lots of love!
Kim

Swatches: My favourite MAC eyeshadow!

I know its too early to say that this is my favourite MAC eyeshadow out all ALL mac eyeshadows because there's just too many shades and I do not own all the shades. But out of the shades that I do own, this is my fave fave fave. So much so that, this is the first eyeshadow I've ever hit pan on! Monumental moment, haha, I kid.

I'm sure you're already wondering which eyeshadow it is...

Right?

It is none other than...PATINA

Such a pretty color, I use it mostly as a transition color for my eye makeup, blending out a darker color. I also use it as a wash of color all over my lid sometimes. Somehow I can just pair patina with almost every eye makeup I wear and it looks amazing.

What's your favourite MAC eyeshadow?

Review: L'Oreal Paris Revitalift White Day Cream & Essence + Event Photos + GIVEAWAY!

Hey!

First a little happy dance as I've just reached more than 400 followers! *dances* Big thanks to all of you who have followed me on makeup&me. (Many giveaways coming up! So stay tuned! :D)

Now back to the original post

I don't know if many of you have noticed, L'Oreal Paris recently have released some new items from their Revitalift line named 'Revitalift White'. I was fortunate enough to be given 2 products by L'Oreal Paris to try out and I've tested it out sufficiently enough to tell you how I feel about them. So, this post is dedicated to the review of both products.

Revitalift White is a range with is slightly different from the original Revitalift range in that, this range is targetted for ladies who are in their mid-20s and wish to PREVENT and fight the first signs of aging.

This sentence caught my attention from the get-go, as I'm 21 myself but have always been interested in items that are anti-aging in general as I've personally seen how much proper skin care can help in keeping you looking youthful from the examples of my mom and aunts. But I've always thought that actual anti-aging products are much too 'heavy' for my skin.

L'Oreal Paris' Revitalift White range is the first anti-aging (and I use that term in general) range of products created for use for the younger ladies like myself. There may be others out there but I'm not familiar with them. So I was really glad to be able to have tried them.

From the press release:

It is an “all-in-one” solution, designed to simultaneously address the 15 key signs of ageing in one single step:

1. Reduces dark spots
2. Reduces fine lines
3. Improves suppleness
4. Reduces wrinkles
5. Boosts radiance
6. Tightens skin
7. Evens skin tone
8. Protects against UV rays
9. Brightens complexion
10. Hydrates skin
11. Smoothens skin
12. Lightens skin tone
13. Enhances luminosity
14. Softens skin
15. Fights signs of ageing

Includes active ingredients like:

Pro-Retinol A (Prevents Premature Ageing): Reduces wrinkles and fine lines by stimulating cell renewal Helps to thicken the epidermis for a complexion that looks soft, smooth and supple

Vitamin B3 (For Fairer, Translucent & More Radiant Skin): Evens out patchy skin tones & lightens skin without a trace of brown spots or pigmentation by inhibiting the transfer of skin-darkening melanin to skin cells

Shea Butter (For Hydration): Holds moisture within your skin and strengthens the lipid barrier in your skin, leaving your skin soft and glowing

Revitalift White Day Cream SPF18

Price: $27.90 (50ml)

I have been using this day cream on days which I'm not wearing makeup as I felt it would be a little too heavy for my skin to have this cream on plus makeup. But for days without makeup, this is wonderful. As with most creams, I only need just a tiniest amount (shown in the photo) for my whole face as I spread it out into a thin layer starting from the center of my face. And its always a plus point that this moisturiser has SPF in it, so I do not have to bother with a separate sunscreen (I do put suncreen on even when I'm just at home).

This day cream was not too heavy for my oily skin, I only got really oily after having this on for most of the day but thats normal as I usually get oily then. I didn't break out from this moisturiser, no oil bumps as well. After the first time I've used this moisturiser, I did notice a slight brightness to my skin. I don't much believe in skin whitening, but more of skin brightening so that was more of the effect I was hoping to have.

Out of the 15 signs of aging it was supposed to help prevent, the only one I felt it did not fulfil was reducing dark spots. I do have some slight but noticible dark spots on my cheek caused by acne scaring and I didn't notice any lightening on the spots. Other than that, I have no other complains with this moisturiser and I really enjoy using it.

Want to know how you can win samples of this moisturiser to try? Keep reading till the end of this post!

Revitalift White Essence

Price: $34.90 (30ml)

For the past few weeks, I've been using this serum at least 3 nights every week (I rotate serums to target different skin issues). I pair it with toner (either my Estee Lauder Optimizer or Shiseido White Lucent Softener) and a night cream. I've never used this in the day as I don't use serums in the day, its more of a night treatment thing for me.

Personally, I'm actually more interested in serums, treatments, essences as they seem like a more concentrated/effective product compared to the rest of the products in a skincare line. And serums can be rotated, used together. So its no surprise to me that I favour this essence to the day cream. Not to say that I don't like the day cream, just that I had to only chose 1, I would purchase this.

This essence has a very liquid-y, slightly sticky gel like texture. Among other serums I own, this feels lighter and easier to wear on your skin (more comfortable to wear everyday of the week without feeling like its too rich for my oily skin). 1 pump is sufficient for my whole face. I usually apply this, let it dry for about 5 mins before I apply my night moisturiser. In the morning, my skin feels soft and sufficiently brighter looking. This essence introduces radiance to my skin.

I did have a little bit of frown lines on my forehead which I don't have anymore after using these 2 products (I'm not using any other anti-aging lines). The same with my smile lines, its been smoothed out.

This essence has been lovely and I will definitely be still using it, I'm using it now even as I write this post!

As I didn't put up a post regarding the L'Oreal event I attended for these 2 products, here are some photos from the event I would just like to share with all of you:

My Skincare Routine (Oct 2011)

Hi!

Just thought to share with all of you my current skincare routine. I'll share with you all the products I'm currently using, whether I like them or not, etc.

Some background information:
- I have oily/combination skin.
- Mainly oily in the T-zone, and normal/sometimes-dry jaw-line & cheeks.
- Acne-prone skin.

Cleansers

AFC Herb Cleansing Oil (review) - I always use this after I've removed my makeup with Bioderma, just to ensure my face is clean of all traces of makeup. 2 pumps of this is enough for my whole face. I've really enjoyed using cleansing oils, they make my skin feels really clean but not stripped of moisture/

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for all skin types - My FAVE cleanser of all time! I think this cleanser was what saved my skin from my acne-filled past. It has a gel-like texture. Works like a charm, makes your skin feels skin but oh-so-soft. I would really recommend Cetaphil to anyone who's having oily, acne-prone skin to try. It even works well for sensitive as it is a brand recommended by dermatologists. (and also my sister who has sensitive skin gives her thumbs-up as well)

Toners

I'm currently rotating between these 2. In no specific order or preference, I just grab for whichever I feel like using at the moment. I really love both and am on the 2nd bottle for both currently.

Estee Lauder Optimizer Pore Minimizing Boosting Lotion - This 'toner' aka lotion is a little thicker in consistency as compared to my Shiseido one. So I tend to use this on days when I feel my skin would require more hydration, but thats just a loose way to put it, I general just go by instinct. This helps keep my skin hydrated and works well with the other products I use for my face. I tried moving on to using other toners after fiishing my first bottle of this, but I found myself craving for how this makes my skin feel, so I ended up repurchasing this. Good stuffs :)

Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Refining Softener Enriched N - This is my 'lighter' toner. Generally used on days when I feel oiler, more acne-prone, i-just-want-something-light-for-my-face. I like using this so much that I have another back-up bottle in my drawer, together with a tiny travel size one so when I travel I can still use the same skincare. And it does make my skin look brighter with continuous usage.

Serums

I don't layer my serums as the skin would only absorb the first layer of serum and the serums would not be able to perform to its full potential when layered. So I either rotate. Or. What I do most days is apply my EL's idealist on my t-zone (areas where I require pore minimizing) and apply my odbo serum on my cheeks and jaw-line (areas where I require hydration)

Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher - Love the idealist. Makes my skin feel super soft. But it can be a little rich, so it may not be suitable for my skin on days when I get particularly oily. So I use it whenever I feel like pampering my face, (and when I feel like my pores look huge...haha)

Odbo Aqua Soothing Silky Essence - I bought this while vacationing in Korea, and I don't think this is available anywhere else (thats why I'm using it so so sparingly at the moment). I haven't been able to find anything thats similar to it. This serum has a gel texture, but when smoothed onto skin, it turns into a liquid where you can just pat it onto your skin. Very hydrating, but at the same time light, serum thats perfect for my oily combination skin. Its not heavy that will cause me to breakout but hydrating enough. I really hope that they make this brand available for sale elsewhere :(

Moisturisers

Moistursers with SPF, used for day. Moisturisers without SPF, I use for night. (stating the obvious, Kim...)

Elizabeth Arden Intervene Radiance Boosting Moisture Cream SPF 15 - I've just started trying out Elizabeth Arden's skincare and I really like how the Intervene range feels on my skin. For this day cream, I really only need to apply the smallest amount to the center of my face and blend outwards. I use this for days when I'm not wearing makeup.

Clarins White Plus HP Whitening Moisture Day Emulsion SPF 20 - I use this under my makeup everyday. I really like how it absorbs into my skin and the smell. Plus the SPF is an added bonus.

Elizabeth Arden Intervene Stress Recovery Night Cream - I received this sample in a set I bought. And my sister and I can't say enough good things about this night cream. Amazing amazing amazing. Just a tiniest amount is needed like the day cream, and after applying it, the next morning our skin would just somehow look more radiant, feel softer, acne and acne scarrings seemed to just fade away a little. I enjoy using it so much that just after photographing the products, I went ahead and bought the full size one. Probably my favourite skincare item among all that I'm using.

Shu Uemura puRENovate Clarifying Balancing Moisturizer - This is actually my sister's moisturiser. But sometimes when I'm feeling lazy, I like to steal hers :P As it comes with a pump, its much more convenient to use and easier as well, when you feel like you're about to collapse soon. An easy, fuss-free moisturiser that works well.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief - I bought this to see how it would fare compared to my favourite-but-now-finished moisturiser Clinique's Dramatically Different moisturiser, as many people seem to like this moisturiser. I would actually say that it is quite similar to DDM. And between the 2, my vote would still go for the DDM as its more convenient with a pump and more value for money (you get more product for a cheaper price). This moisturiser is also slightly thicker and I need to pay attention so as to not apply to much at times. But when I feel like I need a little more hydration, this is great as applying a thick layer can also act like an overnight mask. I just really don't like dipping my fingers into a tub :(

Makeup Removers

Lancome Bi-Facil - Works really well at remove my eye makeup, even waterproof mascara. My only complaint would be the packaging. The cap sometimes seems to leak inside when I shake it.

L'Oreal Gentle Lip and Eye makeup remover - An unexpected find at the drugstore. This works just as well as my Lancome Bi-Facil! And at such a cost saving! Removes waterproof mascara easily as well and is really gentle on the eyes. I definitely would repurchase this.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O for Sensitive Skin - I use this to remove my face makeup, the above 2 for eyes only. This stuff is amazing. Removes all my liquid foundation, bb cream, whatever base products I'm using, so easily, so fast. Feels just like water. There's no scent to it, so its also good for people allergic to scents. There was even a time when I just used this to remove my makeup and fell asleep before I could wash my face through with a cleansing oil/cleanser (I know, that was a terrible thing to do :() and my skin was fine when I woke up, no breakouts, no skin irritations. Really recommend this product!

Acne Treatment

Things I use to fight my acne

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion - Works well if you want to apply an acne treatment on a large area. Application is very easy, just shake it up, pour some on a cotton wool and dab on the area. Somehow this product doesn't react well with the acne in my t-zone area. I mainly use this for acne on my cheeks and jawline area.

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion - Good stuff. This is my when-all-else-fails-and-need-to-get-rid-of-that-large-pimple-sticking-out option. I do like using this but I don't use it all the time as it dries out my skin.

Paula's Choice 2% BHA Gel - I could just kiss this product. This was what saved me from a face full of acne. In the past, there was never a day that my forehead was without pimples. But after using this, omg, I have clear skin. Even though there is definitely still room for improvement, it was because of this product that I'm that much closer to clear skin. When I first started using this, I used it 3 times a week. Then slowly decreased my usage seeing as my skin has improved. Now I only use it about once in 2 weeks or whenever I feel like a need a little exfoliation. If your main skin problem is acne, do try this out. They have different versions for different skin types, so read the FAQs to find out which is for your skin. I bought the GEL which is for oily, combination skin.

Dalacin T 1% Clindamycin Phosphate Topical Gel - This was an acne treatment gel prescribed to me by the dermatologists. Good to use, does the job without drying out my skin like some acne treatments does.

Odbo Sleeping Pack - Really good sleeping mask. Has a gel like texture. Makes my skin look radiant and feel really soft in the morning.

Olay Eye Gel with cucumber extract - My eye area can't really take the rich eye creams so I use this. Very light, hydating. Feels refreshing with the cucumber extract

Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream - This is the first eye cream I've tried that my eyes could take using twice in a row! I really like using this. Moisturising. I'm thinking of getting the full size once I'm done with this sample.

Clinique All About Eyes Serum - Fave fave fave for puffy eyes! Immediately after applying, you can feel your eye area getting warm and the eye serum working its magic. Love it! Another product that I'm contemplating getting a full size of.

Korres Lip Butter in Quince - I think you all know how much I love my Korres Lip Butters. I'm halfway through my Quince pot now. My saviour from cracked, dry lips.

Face Mists

Lastly, face mists!

MAC Fix+ Rose - This special edition Fix+ came out awhile ago and I still have a lot left in my bottle because I only use it to set my makeup on days that I need my foundation to last. I love my rose edition one, I don't want it to run out! Fix+ works really well with my NARS Sheer Glow foundation routine to make my makeup last throughout the day.

The Face Shop Pure Water Facial Mist - I bought this because of the scent. (haha!) And I bought like 4 bottles of this because it was so cheap in Korea! I really enjoy using this when the weather is really hot, just to cool my face down. I really really like the scent. Hahaha.

Beaute Claire Skin Cleanser Detox - This is natural product that kills bacteria. I spray it on a cotton pad and dab it on area where I have acne. The scent smells really refreshing.

Those are the products I use in my skincare routine. They seem like a lot when I have them all typed out like that, but when using them, it barely takes me 5 minutes to finish applying them.

I also didn't include anything about masks, as I just use any sheet masks that I have at home when I feel like pampering my skin. And I have so many different sheet masks that talking about masks alone would probably take up a post.

Hope this has been helpful!
